1. Who we are

This website, ott.codes, is operated by TREX OTT SARL, a limited liability company registered in Casablanca, Morocco (“TREX OTT”, “we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.

We sell white-label OTT application software to IPTV providers. We do not operate a streaming service, and this policy does not cover any app that one of our customers publishes under their own brand — that app is controlled by them, and their own privacy policy applies to it.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the enquiry form on this site, we collect:

  • your name;
  • your email address;
  • your WhatsApp or Telegram contact, if you choose to give one;
  • the brand name you want for your app, if you give one;
  • the plan you are interested in;
  • anything you write in the message field.

If you contact us instead by WhatsApp, Telegram or email, we receive whatever information that service passes to us — typically your display name, your number or handle, and the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically

Our web server records standard log data for every request: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser's user-agent string. These logs are used for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults.

We do not ask for, and have no use for, payment card details on this website. Any payment for a project is arranged separately after we have spoken to you.

3. Why we use it

To answer your enquiry and quote for the work
Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
To keep a record of enquiries and the work we agree
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running and defending our business.
To keep the site secure and available
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting our systems.
To measure and improve our advertising
Legal basis: your consent where required, otherwise our legitimate interest in understanding which adverts produce genuine enquiries. See section 4.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing emails to people who have simply visited the site.

4. Cookies and advertising

This site uses the Google Ads tag (gtag.js, conversion ID AW-18335785353), supplied by Google. It sets cookies and similar identifiers in order to:

  • record when a visit to this site followed one of our Google adverts;
  • record when a visitor submits the enquiry form or clicks a contact link, so we can tell which adverts produce real enquiries;
  • allow us to show adverts to people who have visited this site before (remarketing).

We do not send your name, email address, phone number or message content to Google. What is reported is that a conversion happened, not who you are.

This site also loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. Requesting a font from Google's servers discloses your IP address to Google.

You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalised Google advertising at myadcenter.google.com. Blocking them does not stop you using this site or contacting us — the enquiry form works with all cookies disabled.

We do not use any other analytics, tracking or advertising service on this website.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with:

  • Our hosting provider, which operates the server this site runs on and stores enquiries and server logs on our behalf;
  • Our email providers, which carry enquiry notifications to our inboxes;
  • Google, for the advertising measurement described in section 4;
  • Professional advisers or authorities, where we are required to by law or need to establish or defend a legal claim.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become customers: up to 24 months, then deleted.
  • Customer records: for the duration of the relationship and for as long afterwards as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Server logs: rotated and deleted on a rolling basis, normally within 12 months.
  • Advertising cookies: for the lifetime set by Google, which is at most 90 days for conversion measurement and 540 days for remarketing lists.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate information corrected;
  • have your information deleted;
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
  • receive it in a portable, machine-readable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we relied on consent;
  • complain to your national data protection authority.

To exercise any of these, email us at the address in section 12. We will respond within 30 days. We do not charge for this, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

8. Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Enquiries are stored on our server in a location that is not reachable from the web, and notifications are sent over encrypted connections where the receiving mail server supports it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect what you send us.

9. International transfers

We operate internationally, and our hosting and email providers may process your information in countries other than your own, including outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

10. Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
